Shipping Policy

Order Processing

Most in-stock orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Some products ship directly from our manufacturers or distributors. Factory-direct items typically ship within 1-10 business days, although some products may require additional processing time based on availability. Custom and out of stock items may have a longer shipping time. Please verify shipping and delivery times if your order is urgent. We will reach out prior to processing your order if there is an extended lead time on a particular product. 

Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Shipping Methods

Charlie D's Truck, Trailer & Towing Accessories ships orders using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and various freight carriers depending on the size, weight, and destination of the shipment.

• Small and standard-sized items typically ship via parcel carriers.
• Oversized or heavy items may ship via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight.
• Freight shipments are generally curbside delivery unless otherwise specified.

Shipping options and rates are displayed during checkout when available.

If a customer would like to arrange their own shiping methods or utilize their own carrier accounts, please include a note with your order. 

If special shipping or delivery is required for a particular product, we will reach out to discuss the details. If you would like to include special delivery insturctions, please include a note with your order. 

Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery dates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delivery delays caused by weather, natural disasters, carrier issues, labor disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control do not qualify for shipping refunds.

Freight Shipments

Customers must inspect all freight shipments before signing for delivery.

If damage or shortages are discovered:

• Take clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping labels.
• Note all damage or shortages on the delivery receipt before signing.
• Retain all packaging materials until the claim has been resolved.
• Notify Charlie D's within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to document visible freight damage at the time of delivery may result in denial of a freight claim by the carrier.

Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Additional fees incurred due to incorrect addresses, returned shipments, rerouting requests, or refused deliveries may be deducted from any refund or charged separately. 

Hazardous Materials

Certain products may require special handling and may be subject to additional shipping restrictions or charges. Any applicable fees will be displayed during checkout when available.

 

Returns & Refund Policy

At Charlie D's Truck, Trailer & Towing Accessories, our customers are the most important thing to us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us so we can help.

Return Eligibility

All return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

• The item must be new, unused, and in resalable condition.
• The item must be returned in its original packaging.
• All manuals, hardware, tags, and included accessories must be returned with the product.
• Proof of purchase is required.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Special-order products
• Custom-made or customized products
• Clearance or closeout items
• Electronic products that have been installed, activated, or used
• Used recovery, towing, lifting, rigging, or load securement equipment
• Products that have been modified, damaged, or misused after delivery

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Customers must inspect all shipments upon delivery.

Any damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items must be reported within 10 days of delivery. Photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label may be required to process claims.

If you accidentally order the wrong item, please contact us within 10 days so we can process an exchange for you. Items that have been used or installed are not eligible for exchange or return. 

Return Shipping

If a return is approved due to a customer ordering error, the customer is responsible for return and replacement shipping costs.

If the return is the result of our error, a defective product, or a shipping carrier issue, Charlie D's will provide return shipping instructions at no cost to the customer when applicable.

Restocking Fees

Some manufacturers and distributors charge restocking fees on returned merchandise. Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

Refunds

All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt.

Once the return has been approved and processed, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a verified product defect.

Please allow 5-10 business days after receipt of the returned item for processing.

 

Warranty Policy

Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold by Charlie D's Truck, Trailer & Towing Accessories are covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

Any warranty provided with a product is offered solely by the manufacturer and is subject to the manufacturer's terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions.

Charlie D's Truck, Trailer & Towing Accessories does not provide any separate warranty beyond those offered by the product manufacturer unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.

Warranty Assistance

If you believe a product may be covered under a manufacturer's warranty, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you in locating the appropriate warranty information and manufacturer contact details.

Proof of purchase may be required to process warranty claims.

Warranty Exclusions

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover damage resulting from:

• Improper installation
• Misuse or abuse
• Overloading
• Neglect or lack of maintenance
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Accidents or collisions
• Normal wear and tear
• Use outside the manufacturer's specifications or rated capacities

Limitation of Liability

Charlie D's Truck, Trailer & Towing Accessories shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any product purchased from our store.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all products are properly installed, inspected, maintained, and used in accordance with manufacturer instructions, applicable regulations, and industry safety standards.

Recovery, towing, lifting, rigging, and load securement products must never be used beyond their rated capacities. Failure to follow manufacturer guidelines may result in property damage, serious injury, or death.

Products that have been overloaded, shock loaded, altered, modified, repaired without manufacturer approval, or otherwise compromised should not be used.

Load Ratings and Capacities

Never exceed the manufacturer's rated capacity, working load limit (WLL), or other published specifications.

Load ratings are provided by the manufacturer and are based on proper use under controlled conditions. Actual conditions may vary and can significantly affect product performance and safety.

Customers are solely responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for their intended application.

Customers should verify all product specifications with the manufacturer before use.
